As you know, I am passionate and likely a little overzealous about real estate and iBuying. That’s why, when I was recently invited to share my thoughts on these topics for the “RealTrending” podcast, I made sure to communicate how agents are vital to the real estate transaction and how our partnership is the key to success of iBuying.
With so many recent headlines out there asking if there is a future for iBuying, this podcast enabled me to set the record straight. iBuying is here to stay. iBuyers spent millions of dollars on advertising to educate sellers that they have a choice on how to sell their home, and sellers stepped up in record numbers. Sellers said yes to certainty, to convenience, and to speed in selling their homes. On average in 2022, 8% of your sellers who requested offers sold their homes to QuickBuy and over 70% of those homes that entered the market for sale used your agents. Great numbers in the strongest sellers’ market in years.
The void being left by iBuyers slowing up does not mean iBuying is over, it just means more opportunities for agents to help the sellers who want or need the benefits of an immediate offer option.
